How the CommitOdds Interest Score is calculated
The CommitOdds Interest Score (0 to 100) measures how much college interest a recruit is getting, using public recruiting facts. It is not a talent, character or future-performance grade, and it says nothing about the player as a person.
Inputs
- Offers (25 points): number of scholarship offers listed (40 or more offers = full points).
- Program strength (35): the five strongest offering programs, using a simple tier list built from several years of public team recruiting rankings (Tier 1: average rank 10 or better; Tier 2: 25 or better; Tier 3: 40 or better; Tier 4: ranked in any year; other programs count a little).
- Early offers (5): offers dated before June 1 of the player's sophomore year (five or more = full points).
- Visits (15): official visits (five schools = full) and unofficial visits, junior days and camps.
- Recent growth (10): new offers in the last 30 days (five or more = full points).
- 247Sports rank (10): a minor input from the 247Sports composite national rank.
Live players (classes of 2027 and 2028) are scored as of today and updated daily. Players in the 2025 and 2026 classes are scored as of the day before they committed.
CO Rank
CO Rank is the player's position in our ordering for their class and sport: highest Interest Score first. Players whose data is incomplete (for example a missing or partial offer list) show 'Not enough data yet' instead of a score and are listed last, by 247Sports rank. You can still sort any list by 247Sports rank or by position.
