Visiting the site

You can use CommitOdds without an account. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites. It gives us aggregate counts like page views and referrers.

Emails you send us

If you email us (for example [email protected] or [email protected]), we use your address and message only to respond and handle the request. We keep them only as long as needed for that. Photo submissions are kept along with any credit you ask for.

Pick'em (once it launches)

If you create a Pick'em account, we'll store:

• An account identifier. For email sign-in, this is a one-way keyed hash of your email address. We don't keep the address itself after sending your sign-in link. For Google sign-in, if offered, it's Google's account ID for you.
• Your public handle and optional favorite team.
• Your picks, with timestamps and the model odds at the time, plus your points.
• A sign-in session cookie and short-lived security data (rate-limit counters, Cloudflare Turnstile bot checks).

Sign-in links are emailed through our email provider (Resend), which processes your address only to deliver the message. We ask for your birth year only to confirm you're 13 or older, and we don't store it. If someone enters an age under 13, we don't create an account. Your handle, team and points appear on leaderboards. Player pages show only anonymous fan percentages. You'll be able to delete your account and picks at any time.

Children

CommitOdds isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Recruits

Player pages use publicly available recruiting information (name, high school, class, position, rankings, offers and commitments). We never contact players through the site. Players, parents or guardians can request removal or correction at [email protected].

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it except with the service providers above as needed to run the site, or when required by law.
